Roagna Faset, Barbaresco DOCG, Italy 2018

A geographical mention in the municipality of Barbaresco, close to the Rocche which is the continuation of the MGA Asili.  The soil is characterised by calcareous clay.

The 2018 Barbaresco Faset is bright, exuberant and charming, in other words, everything a Faset should be. Sweet, dried cherries, mint, spice, tobacco and cedar are all beautifully brought out. The Faset is a very nice, understated Barbaresco. It is a pleasure to taste it today - Vinous
