WARRANTY POLICY
Please inspect your order upon delivery. All products deemed to be defective in any nature must be reported via email within 48 hours of package arrival.
Defective products will be replaced with the same or equivalent products when available. If unavailable a merchandise credit or refund will be issued. Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to appear on your credit card account. Albatross Wine Company reserves the right to deny any claim for any reason.
Warranty will be denied for the following:
- Products that are damaged, abused, or altered by purchaser
- Products without original proof of purchase
- Products that are damaged during the return shipment

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Due to the limited quantities and one of a kind nature of some of our product line please make note of the following rules. All wine. spirits, and accessories are final sale and are non refundable and cannot be returned for a store credit. Some accessories may be returned for a store credit at the discretion of Albatross Wine Company. Any additional shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
All damaged or faulty items received must be documented and notice received within 48 hours of acceptance of package. We stand behind our products 100% and ensure they are depicted as shown on this site and will arrive in the same manner. If they do not due to shippers error, please let us know so we can make arrangements for replacement or refund.
Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Due to high demand and limited quantities, please note that some items may sell out quickly. Many products on this website are limited production and as such we cannot supply you with products from past vintages. Albatross Staff may, at its own discretion and without giving reason, limit quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer. We may also require verification of information prior to the acceptance and/or shipment of any order.
While it is our practice to confirm orders by email, the receipt of an email order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order or our confirmation of an offer to sell a product or service. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email confirming the shipment of your order (the "shipping confirmation").
Our goal is to always provide items sold on this site to you as soon as possible. In the rare case that an order is accepted for an item that is out of stock, we will make every effort to ship the product to you as soon as possible or offer a full refund if the product is not available.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Albatross Wine Company reserves the right to cancel any order at any time. We may cancel before we have accepted it and we may rescind our acceptance and cancel any order, or any portion thereof at our discretion, even after your receipt of an order confirmation or after your credit card has been charged.
Any Albatross Wine Company product being resold using photography from our website or our social media pages is subject to cancellation.
Any customer offering a "pre-order" for a product that has not yet been released will have any successful order(s) cancelled for that release and for all future releases.
PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION
We gladly accept: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Apple Pay. The Albatross Wine Company shopping cart includes an 128-bit SSL certificate that is operated by Shopify and is guaranteed to keep your information secure. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards per our shopping cart provider Shopify.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is conducted by brands like American Express, Visa, MasterCard. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Albatross Wine Company will not be held responsible for items shipped to addresses incorrectly entered by the customer. Please verify that your address and contact information is correct when you place your order.

Albatross Wine Company does not represent or warrant that the content of this site is accurate or that its operation will be error free or uninterrupted. You use the Site at your own risk. THIS SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Purchasing and Shipping
By placing an order, the Buyer represents to Albatross Wine Company, LLC (“Albatross”) that the Buyer is at least 21 years of age, and the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years of age. Title to and ownership of all wine passes from Albatross to Buyer in the State of Illinois, and Buyer takes all legal and financial responsibility for the product being transported from Illinois to the Buyer’s selected destination. Sales tax will be applied based on Albatross’s location in Illinois.
By placing an order, Buyer authorizes Albatross to act on Buyer’s behalf to arrange for transportation of the Buyer’s wine at the Buyer’s direction. By arranging for transportation of the wine, Albatross is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the Buyer, who is instructing Albatross to provide a common carrier (including but not limited to UPS) for the shipment. By utilizing this service from Albatross, the Buyer is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. Albatross makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. Buyer warrants he or she is solely responsible for the transport of the purchased products and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of bringing the products to the buyer’s chosen destination. The Buyer represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered, and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age. Buyer further represents that Buyer, or the designated recipient of Buyer, will provide all necessary documentation and identification to prove that the Buyer and the designated recipient (if applicable) to substantiate these representations. Albatross and our shipping partners are not authorized to accept a "signature on file" or leave a wine package at the door or with a neighbor. Albatross makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines, alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state.
Alternatively, Buyer may choose to pick up the wine at Albatross’s location, make shipping arrangements independent of Albatross, or provide specific common carrier instructions at the time of purchase if they do not desires Albatross to act as their agent with a common carrier.
Albatross currently ships to the following states: Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana , Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
We primarily ship with UPS. If you would like us to hold your order because of weather concerns, please note this in the comments section during the ordering process or email us at info@albatrosswineco.com after you place your order. Please include the order number in your email. While we do monitor the weather daily to make sure that it is safe to ship your order, we take zero responsibility for orders shipped out during extremely hot or cold temperatures when the Buyer does not ask us to hold the order for a later shipping date.
We will ship your order to the exact address provided in the order. If find that you made a mistake during the checkout process, please contact us immediately at info@albatrosswineco.com. Once a package is picked up by a common carrier at our store, any address corrections due to customer error will result in a Redirect Fee, which will be paid by the Buyer.
If UPS is used, UPS will attempt to deliver your package to the provided address three times. If on the third attempt they are unable to deliver the package, it will be returned to Albatross, and will be re-sent at the expense of the Buyer.
WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP TO P.O. BOXES FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.
PRIVACY POLICY
We do not share any of the information we collect regarding your order and we ensure that all information collected is strictly confidential. Any and all contact information will never be shared with anyone else.
