Blue Blazer Queen Mary Old Fashioned

Queen Mary is a neighborhood cocktail tavern in Wicker Park. Building owner Mary Kafka operated the bar with her husband until 1975, leaving it virtually untouched for forty years. Interested in giving the former tavern new life, Matt Eisler and Kevin Heisner formed a friendship with Kafka, and with her blessing dubbed their iteration of the tavern ‘Queen Mary’ in her honor.
