This purple-tinted intense ruby-red coloured vintage gives off elegant black fruit notes followed by refines spices and truffle aromas. The 2013 Chateau Rouget reveals a delicate palate. The latter is coated with subtle black fruit and plum aromas, yet it keeps a vibrant freshness on finish. This wine ageing potential is beyond 20 years although its optimum ripeness will be reached between 2023 and 2025.
