Domaine Lucien Boillot & Fils Les Caillerets, Volnay Premier Cru, France 2020

From one of the best premier cru sites in the AOC, this Caillerets is a step up in complexity and refinement from Boillot’s village cuvée. It features a stony, savory undercurrent, above which float gorgeous notes of strawberries and plums. I expect this bottling will age gracefully for fifteen years or more.
