Château Dauzac’s ambition is very clear: continue to progress among the best Médoc Grands Crus Classés. To achieve this objective, the men and women of Dauzac are drawing on the estate’s very DNA: a deep-rooted respect for tradition and innovation, all the while making the most of the estate’s strength – its biodiversity, which is a valuable resource for the quality of the wine it produces. To showcase this DNA, Château Dauzac has had a distinctive emperor yellow label since 1924, a symbol of light and sensory experiences.

Produced from terroirs other than those of Margaux, its specifications meet the same high standards of virtuous and respectful viticulture practised at Château Dauzac. Cabernet Sauvignon (55%) and Merlot (44%) grapes flourish on clayey-gravelly soil. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by a year’s ageing in vats and barrels. Vibrant colour with flashes of ruby. Delicate and fresh aromas of ripe fruit with hints of spice. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot gives this wine excellent balance and a full, delicate mouthfeel with a delicious finish
