"Here, the wines have a very recognisable, personal "stamp", they are chic. And that is a miracle. Jean-Paul's Côte-Rôties can be recognised by their deep colour, notes of black olive and slight smokiness. They are big on the palate, dense in some vintages, and notes of camphor or menthol may appear in cooler years."

This is Jamet’s entry-level bottling, but after one sniff you’ll realize there is nothing basic about it. Sourced from excellent terroirs in and around Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu, and aged 11 months in old barriques, the 2022 Syrah is so classy and perfectly balanced. With notes of dark fruit, black olives, and smoked meat, it epitomizes elegant Syrah from the northern Rhône. Don’t miss it!
