August 31, 2021: Prosecco! Not your traditional massed produced fizz here. These wines provide exceptional quality and will get you through Labor Day and well into the holidays.
Borgoluce Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Italy NV
The Collaltos carry on a family legacy as owners and tenants of 3200 acres of land north of Venice given to their family over one thousand years ago. The signs of history, culture and nature co-exist with farming practices that fully respect what is a centuries-long tradition passed down by the Collalto family.
The Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. region is home to the vineyards of Borgoluce’s finest Prosecco.
Crisp and elegant, notes of yellow apples, pear and wild flowers. Pleasantly fruity and silky. Its harmony is completed by a rich, fine flavor.
Bisol Desiderio 'Jeio' Prosecco Millesimato Rose Brut 2019
Bisol is easily one of the most respected producers in Prosecco. The family’s five centuries in the heart of the region and post World War Two reinvigoration by Desiderio ‘Jeio’ Bisol have firmly placed the family at the top of the region’s producers who are dedicated to showcasing the Valdobbiadene hills through their wines.
The Jeio DOC Rosé has a delicate pink color reminiscent of pink coral or a dream Venetian dawn. On the nose, it releases refined notes of rose, touches of fresh citrus fruit, and is evocative of wild strawberries. On the palate, it is fine, complex and inviting.
