Littorai Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, California, USA 2023

Littorai is a plural derivative of the Latin word Litor, which means “the coasts”.

A small, family owned and operated winery who produce world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the true north coast of California: the coastal mountains of Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. 

This juicy and aromatic Pinot Noir is loaded with flavors of red fruit, meaty cherries, tree bark, and sweet baking spice. Ted and Heidi Lemon founded Littorai back in 1993, though the duo is far from new to the world of winemaking. Ted first cut his teeth at Domaine Roulot in Burgundy, followed by stints at Dujac, Roumier, and Bruno Clair. Littorai’s fruit is farmed all organically and biodynamically. The 2023 Pinot Noir is produced from some of California’s highly sought-after vineyard sites, leading to an aromatic and complex cuvée.

A blend of de-classified barrels and press wine from the Littorai Sonoma Coast vineyards, including Hirsch, Pivot, Mays Canyon, Thieriot and The Haven. Primarily Gold Ridge loam soils

Produced from vineyards that are farmed using organic and biodynamic methods.
