VINTAGE : 2019
COUNTRY : France
REGION/APPELLATION : Chablis
VARIETALS : Chardonnay
On the right bank of the Serein River, which flows through Chablis and its region. Located in the north west corner of the Grand Cru slope. It has a remarkable south east exposure and the steepest slope of all the Grand Crus.
The 2019 Chablis Bougros Grand Cru is fermented in used 500-liter barrels. It has a fresh bouquet with more intensity than the Mont de Milieu, featuring red apples mixed with gunflint and light orange blossom aromas. The palate is well balanced with grapefruit and touches of passion fruit on the entry. There is admirable weight here, and fine acidity. The approachable finish shows a tang of spice on the aftertaste.92 pts Vinous
