Located along Conn Creek on the eastern edge of Rutherford, Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is a 300-acre ranch with 181 acres under land conservation. With plantings dating back to 1895, this historic land was once the site of Beaulieu Vineyards and has seen wines crafted by legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff. The vineyard gently rises to an elevation of 500 feet, offering optimum sun exposure, while vineyard rows run east to west with lyre trained vines that sit in well-drained soil. Known for impeccable farming and a balanced crop year after year, this vineyard is owned and managed by Beckstoffer Vineyards.

Winemaker’s Notes | The deep purple-hued 2019 Amulet Estate Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon, from a larger, historic site in Rutherford, offers up a rock-solid nose of ripe dark fruits, damp earth, chocolate, and leafy herbs. This carries to a full-bodied 2019 with a round, seamless mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and solid length on the finish.
